Welcome to the Center for Research on  Botanical Dietary Supplements

 

The Center for Research on  Botanical Dietary Supplements at Iowa State University (ISU) and the University of Iowa (UI), links two traditionally strong complementary institutions and focuses their effort on important research on botanical supplements. 

 

This multidisciplinary Center includes scientists from the fields of horticulture, botany, biochemistry, molecular biology, toxicology, chemistry, medicinal pharmacology, nutrition, epidemiology, clinical medicine, and statistics.

 

The Center is funded by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) and the Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS), and is an affiliated member organization of ISU's Nutrition and Wellness Research Center.

 

 

 

Office closed during semester break

The Botanical Center's administrative office will be closed December 24 - January 3, in accordance with Iowa State University's semester break recommendation. Normal office hours will resume on Monday, January 4, 2010.
