The Nutrition and Wellness Research Center offers a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary activities, including clinical studies, community-based interventions, and basic laboratory research.

 

The NWRC has locations on campus and at the Iowa State University Research Park in Ames, Iowa, offering easy access from I-35/US Highway 30 and ample free parking for study participants and visitors.  Facilities and services include:

 

• Metabolic kitchen, dining, and fitness assessment facilities for human clinical studies
• Sensory Evaluation Unit
• Laboratories
• Meeting rooms available for campus and off-campus groups
• Statistical support
